Origami
「折り紙」は日本の折り紙の概念を基にした、紙を折る芸術と位置付けられています。
私は平面を折る造形から、芸術的な実用品を生み出そうとしています。
折る造形の語の「折：ori」と「造：zou」から「ORIZOU 折造」と名付けました。
"Origami" is defined as the art of folding paper, based on the Japanese concept of folding paper.
I try to create artistic, practical items by folding flat surfaces.
The name "ORIZOU" comes from the words "ori" (to fold) and "zou" (to make).
Washi Paper
「障子」は日本特有の建築要素の一つで、和室の間仕切りに設置した軽い和紙を張った木枠の引き戸です。
特に光を通し、部屋を明るくしながらもプライバシーを守る役割を果たしています。
"Shoji" is a uniquely Japanese architectural element, a wooden sliding door covered in light Japanese paper that divides rooms. Its main function is to let light in and brighten the room while maintaining privacy.
Lamp
和紙をカットし球形に整形したペンダントライトです。和紙と水平のスリットから漏れた光がお部屋を優しく照らします。
This pendant light is made from cut, spherical washi paper. The light that shines through the washi paper and horizontal slits gently illuminates the room.
